Alice Evans - DKNY Jeans
</p>

1. What are you wearing today?
One of DKNY JEANS new season shirts from the Fall 12 collection, it’s a simple white shirt bought into the here and now with a black button stand and collar. A really easy piece which is very transitional for this current English weather. Teamed with a pair of high wasted leather shorts from Topshop and to give it a bit of colour I am wearing my KG patent leather mules in pink which I picked up in the great summer sale they had this year. Then no outfit would be complete without a shiny silver Micheal Kors bag which matches the heel on my shoes. I was tempted to pick up the gold in honour of the Olympics but have opted for second place.

2. What is your favourite item bought from past Vodafone London Fashion weekends?
I picked up some great pieces at Aqua in Februrary. I normally shop there full price and was great to find some great dresses at great prices. I ended up with three! Accessories are always great too and have always been lucky and found some great jewellery. I always make sure I save some of my pay check to shop during the event.

3. What is your essential accessory?
Although I buy jewellery I am always very forgetful in actually wearing any so my essential accessory is always a great bag. The clutch bag has been a staple piece in the office this summer. Trying to cram everything into it though has been a bit of an issue and I have been known to carry several bags around with me!

4. What new feature are you most looking forward to at Vodafone London Fashion Weekend?
I always look forward to the event as it has grown from strength to strength offering a great shopping experience. I am looking forward to the extended opening hours as there is always so many great designers to see it will be easier to fit them all in!

5. Whose style do you admire?
Even though the programme no longer runs I am a big Sex and the City fan and watching back through my box set you can find so many inspiring outfits across all the characters I often use that as inspiration when I’m feeling I need a nudge. The styling done by Patricia Field is something I really admire, I would love a look around her wardrobe.

6. What is the best part of your job?
As the buyer for the DKNY JEANS stores in the UK the best part of my job is looking forward to the new seasons. We spend so much time looking ahead when its summer I always want Fall and when its Fall I can’t wait for the summer product. Every aspect of my job is great especially the people I get to work with.

7. What do you do on your day off?
On my days off I love to spend time with my family and friends. Often all getting together and just enjoying each other’s company. Before moving to London I lived on the south coast so time spent in the sea air revisiting is always great. Although I am always pleased to get back to the hustle and bustle of this wonderful city.

8. What is your ultimate Guilty Pleasure?
Online shopping. If I am given on spare moment my mac is always out and I’m trying to find new things to buy! Normally things I do not need but the joy is enough.

<span>9. <span>Where is your favourite place in London?
Wimbledon village is one of my favoruite places in London. I live not far from there and always enjoy walking through there during the weekend, when the weather is good there is great places outside to eat and drink. During the Wimbledon tennis the atmosphere is great and you can sit and people watch well into the evening.

10. What do you love about London Style?
I love that you can wear whatever you want! London style has no boundaries and the diversity it offers is very inspiring. I think the mix between designer, high street and vintage style makes us one of the best dressed city’s. I am always inspired by the people I see on the street.

Some girls of my team will be there and will take photos of our customers wearing the pieces they have bought and publish the best pics on our site, Instagram and Pinterest galleries! My greatest pleasure is seeing my creations worn and restyled from who buy them. We have a section on MFP site called IStyleMFP and it's my greatest inspiration!

Looking for the first time at your ideas taking shape and becoming wearable objects. And having a team of people that support you and believe in what you are creating even thru the hard times.

7. What do you do on your day off?
I sleep a lot, go to the gym and then head for a thai massage or a manicure.. I also enjoy a lot visiting some of my favourite shops, the latest must-see art exhibition or even just going to the supermarket as I usually have no time at all and I tend to buy everything online!

8. What is your ultimate Guilty Pleasure?
Eating crisps and white chocolate on a long flight plane while watching 3 movies in a row!

9. Where is your favourite place in London?
My home and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

10. What do you love about London Style?
The punk heritage and the fact that because of that everybody feels free to express their own personal style and don't necesserely follow trends.

In addition to being Brand Founder and Creative Director of Peridot London, I am also Director of tax consultancy firm, Msqaured, in Perth, Western Australia so my days off are few and far between! I did, however, recently take some time out to go on a yoga retreat to Chiva Som in Thailand. It was the most amazing experience, I recommend it to anyone who really wants to just switch off for a little while and clear their head, you come back feeling so refreshed and full of energy<!/p>

6. What is your ultimate Guilty Pleasure?
Shoes! I often hide them in my various wardrobes between London and Australia so that I don’t feel as guilty about having so many pairs!

7. Where is your favourite place in London?
Where do I start? London never ceases to amaze me - I love to stroll around the eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and galleries and find I am always discovering somewhere new.

8. What do you love about London Style?
In terms of style, I think London is the most inspirational city in the world. There is something so creative about the way people put their looks together here, they are bold in their expression of their own personal style and it’s wonderful to see. I find I am always getting new ideas about ways to put things together just by people-watching.
